Give a winter contractor the property details needed to discuss scope and availability.
Start with the whole property
A street address is a starting point. Add the property type, a marked plan and the person who can explain access. Separate the parking lot, loading areas and pedestrian routes so the requested work is visible. For a multi-building property, label each entrance and identify who manages the shared areas.
Write down the daily routine
Record opening times, deliveries, overnight occupancy and the earliest shift. Describe what happens when vehicles are parked in the treatment area. These details help a contractor discuss the scope; sending them does not reserve a crew or confirm a response time.
Separate the questions
Ask which areas the proposal includes, who inspects between visits and how changes or inaccessible areas are recorded. If you need snow clearing as well as treatment, put both in the brief. Keep equipment or material supply requests separate from service enquiries.
